We are proud to share the proclamation signed by the Honorable Thomas " Tommy" M. Battle, JR, Mayor of the City of Huntsville, Alabama to commemorate Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey in recognition of Ataturk's contribution in Turkish history and culture.

Turkish Americans have always contributed to America's diverse cultural fabric and its advancement in the field of business, science, medicine, technology and arts and will continue to do so.
